The Undertaker has given his thoughts on Israel Adesanya paying tribute to him during his UFC 276 ring walk.
At UFC 276, Israel Adesanya, widely regarded as the most skilled striker in the promotion today, came out to The Undertaker’s theme, even sporting his signature hat and carrying an urn.
The Last Stylebender’s spectacular entrance for his main event clash with Jared Cannonier drew a positive response from the Las Vegas crowd and fans watching at home.
One person who had nothing but praise was for the tribute was none other than The Undertaker himself. BT Sports’ Ariel Helwani took to social media with The Deadman’s reaction to the entrance.
“I asked @undertaker what he thought of @stylebender’s walkout:
‘I thought it was great! He’s not only a great fighter, he’s an awesome entertainer as well! Tyson Fury gets knocked down & sits up like the UT and Adesanya uses my walkout! Pretty damn cool!’

Israel Adesanya is one of the UFC’s biggest stars and has dominated the middleweight division for years. This is far from the first time he has referenced his fondness for professional wrestling.
After defeating the legendary Anderson Silva at UFC 234, Adesanya famously quoted Hulk Hogan in his post-fight speech. He also jokingly performed iconic manoeuvres from the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock at an open training session prior to the bout.
UFC 276 not only drew fans from all over the world, but also from Money in the Bank which was held in the MGM Grand just down the street. Following the Premium Live Event, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and Pat McAfee made their way to the T-Mobile Arena to watch the MMA action in person and got caught on camera while they enjoyed the fights.
