Fit Finlay was so angry with one ex-WWE star he would have attacked if not for interference from the Undertaker!
During his time with WWE as one of the Highlanders, Robbie McAllister committed the faux pas of attending a TNA Impact! taping just days before WrestleMania 24. Both events took place in Orlando, FL, and despite the roster being warned not to attend the rival promotion’s taping, McAllister went anyway. To make matters worse, he was shown on television, appearing under his real name of Dereck Graham-Couch with the caption “WWE Wrestler.”
Speaking on the Cheap Heat Productions Podcast, his tag team partner Rory McAllister recalled the incident and said that Fit Finlay was furious at the Scottish star for flouting orders not to attend the taping. He revealed that the Undertaker had to intervene to calm Finlay down.
“Fit lost his s**t. Fit was irate. Obviously, I understand where he’s coming from. He made a lunge and ‘Taker actually stopped him and went, ‘Dave [Fit’s real name], calm the f**k down,’ because Robbie had the balls to do what he did, whether he did it on purpose or not, and I’m almost certain he did, he had the balls to do that and he walked right back into the bar to face the music.”
Continuing, Rory McAllister said that Undertaker had respect for Robbie for standing his ground.
“Robbie stood his ground. I’ve punched Robbie in the face before. He can take a shot, and he stood there and took his shot like a man, and I think ‘Taker really respected that from him. He’s like, ‘Fit, calm down, the boy f**ked up, he’ll pay his penalties, now leave him the f**k alone.’”
Undertaker has spoken in the past about his belief that current wrestling locker rooms lack a certain level of “grit.”
