The Undertaker has revealed that his own mother was mad at him for some of the things he divulged during his WWE Hall of Fame speech.
The Undertaker capped off a legendary thirty-year WWE career when he was inducted into the company’s Hall of Fame ahead of WrestleMania 38 in early 2022.
The Deadman spoke for almost a full hour during his induction as he gave fans a rare peek behind the character to what the man Mark Calaway is really like.
Speaking to Peter Rosenberg for A&E, The Undertaker revealed that some of the things he said during his speech left his own mother less than thrilled by what he said about her:
“She was hot at me about the speech. She told me when I talked to her backstage. She goes, ‘Well, you made dad sound like a saint and you made me sound like a bar room brawler.’ I was like, ‘Well, I didn’t tell any lies mom, I’m just saying.’ It was fun.”
To cap off his gargantuan speech, The Undertaker left fans with a tantalising closing remark of “never say never” in regard to his in-ring future. The WWE icon recently revealed just what he meant by the comment.
