The Undertaker has high praise for one of WWE’s current champions.
Logan Paul has been impressive since signing with WWE in 2022, and at Crown Jewel, he defeated Rey Mysterio to become the United States Champion.
Speaking on a recent edition of Six Feet Under, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker spoke about Paul’s performance, praising the star for his athleticism as well as bringing uniqueness to WWE as he’s an outsider to the world of wrestling.
“That’s the one key thing I like about him, I mean not only his athleticism and how fast he picks up the in-ring stuff, but what I like is that he is not a polished professional sports entertainer … everyone has pretty much the same formula because that’s how they all come up, he’s an outsider that’s come into the business with this huge following and this huge background. So I kind of like the fact that he’s a little bit of an oddity.”
The Undertaker Praised Logan Paul’s WrestleMania 40 Performance
WrestleMania 40 saw Logan Paul defend his title in triple threat action against both Kevin Owens and Randy Orton. In the end, Paul was able to retain his United States Championship after hitting an impressive frog splash on Kevin Owens and pinning him after throwing Randy Orton out of the ring.
Continuing, Undertaker praised Paul’s frog splash, noting the incredible height he was able to achieve.
“That frog splash that he did to go over in that match, dude, I told him, I knew you were going over with that one. You don’t get up that high unless you’re going to go over with it.”
Also on his podcast, The Undertaker called for the main roster to follow in NXT’s footsteps.
