The Undertaker Explains Bizarre Reason Why WWE Legend Did Not Appear On Netflix Raw Debut

The Undertaker has speculated that a fellow WWE Hall of Famer was not on the Raw on Netflix premiere simply because they were forgotten.

The Raw on Netflix premiere on January 6th was a star-studded event, featuring appearances from both current superstars and legends of the ring. While many past and present WWE icons were shown in the crowd, one notable absence left fans wondering: Shawn Michaels. The Undertaker, who made a special appearance riding his motorcycle after Rhea Ripley captured the Women’s World Title from Liv Morgan, shed light on the situation during a recent episode of his Six Feet Under podcast.

“Shawn was there. I don’t think Shawn was on the show. I think he was supposed to be in the crowd sitting with Stephanie [McMahon], and no one came and got him, or something like that. He was just sitting in his dressing room when his spot came up to be in the crowd.”

Undertaker also mentioned that he, Michaels, and WWE executive Bruce Prichard shared a moment backstage to commemorate the event.

“We all took a picture together because we were the only three that were on the original Raw and the Netflix deal.”

Undertaker said, referencing their involvement in the first-ever episode of Raw back in 1993.

What Was The Original Plan For The Undertaker’s Appearance On The Raw On Netflix Premiere?

The Undertaker has spoken about what the original plans were for him on the Raw on Netflix premiere and said that he originally planned to make an entrance and be interviewed in the ring. However, he was told that he was going to appear after Rhea Ripley won the Women’s World Championship, which he was opposed to initially, but came around to the idea after it was explained to him.
