The Undertaker Discusses WWE’s Dramatic Shift Under Triple H’s Leadership

The Undertaker Elaborates On WWE's Dramatic Shift Under Triple H's Leadership

The Undertaker has given his thoughts on the recent change in WWE.

Having worked for Vince McMahon for 30 years, The Pehnom was used to a chaotic environment of last-minute changes, shows being rewritten and getting all the moving parts to align to make sure the live broadcast went off without incident.

Following the Endeavor takeover, things are a lot different in WWE. With Triple H being given sole control of the creative process after being “knighted” by the parent company, the backstage environment has been given a complete overhaul and is a lot more structured. No longer organised chaos, Taker found the experience rather odd when he recently returned to the promotion.

Speaking on the Six Feet Under podcast, the Hall of Famer compared the two working environments and how he found the Triple H regime to be a lot less hectic:

“He’s doing it calmly. So I’m not I’m not around, obviously, like I used to be. When I was working full-time, or even when I wasn’t working full-time. It was just so chaotic.”

Taker continued, noting that there is a significant drop in the average age of the workers and that in his limited time there he has not seen Triple H lose his temper:

“There is like this calm backstage. The crew itself, the talent, they’re relatively young. Top to bottom, they’re young people. They’re all so chill. I’ve seen Triple H get worked up, but I haven’t seen him yell at Talent. I haven’t seen him bad mouth anybody.

There’s been times where you come back through the curtain and you know that ass-chewing is coming. I haven’t seen that with him. Like I said, I haven’t been around a whole lot, but I’ve been around enough, and I know him well enough, and I can just tell it’s such a chill vibe. For me, I almost don’t like it because it’s almost too calm. To me, and this is just me on the outside looking in, it’s like they don’t care enough. It’s not that. It’s just the atmosphere.”

The Undertaker Comments on A Match That Took Its Toll

Having been a part of professional wrestling for more than 3 decades, Undertaker would face off against a wide variety of opponents over his legendary career. With some battles being more physical than others, The Undertaker has cited one match that took years off of his career.

In 2024, a WWE announcer also praised Triple H for the changes.
