The Undertaker has claimed that he could “probably squeeze out” one more match if he had to.
It has been a little over two years since The Undertaker wrestled his last match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36. With his last action in a more traditional in-ring setting came a month before that.
At the following Survivor Series, the soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer brought the curtain down on his more than three decade long career.
Since then speculation has remained linking The Deadman with one more match, especially in light of his farewell being held without fans present.
For more than 20 years, Undertaker was synonymous with WrestleMania, so with the 2022 edition of the event just days away, the rumours began to swirl once more.
Speaking to WESH, The Phenom admitted that he could probably eek out one more match if push came to shove, although doesn’t foresee any scenario where he would lace up his boots one more time.
“Do I have one more match in me? If I had to, I could probably squeeze one out,”
“In my mind and heart, I could go forever, but trying to get the body to deliver what my mind and heart see is the difficult point after al these years. I never want to tarnish the legacy I created and be less than what people expect. I really doubt there is any scenario that puts me back in the ring, but this is the WWE and you never say never.”
On April 1st, The Undertaker will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame alongside Vader, The Steiner Brothers and Sharmell. It has already been announced that ‘Taker will be inducted by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
