Dark Side Of The Ring season three has been announced and it includes an episode dedicated to The Ultimate Warrior and features his ex-wife.
Premiering on VICE on May 6th in the US the series will feature fourteen episodes, an increase of four from season two.
Six of the subjects covered in their own episode have been announced by VICE on social media. They are Brian Pillman who died while part of the then-World Wrestling Federation on the day of the Badd Blood pay-per-view in 1997. Deathmatch wrestler Nick Gage, who was jailed in 2011 for a bank robbery. The Collision In Korea event will also be covered. This was a co-branded WCW and NJPW event that took place in 1995 in Pyongyang, North Korea.
Grizzly Smith, the patriarch of the Smith wrestling family will be covered in season three. Smith is the father to wrestlers Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, Sam Houston, and Rockin’ Robin. Dynamite Kid will also have his own episode dedicated to his story. Kid was confined to a wheelchair since 1997 and tragically died on his 60th birthday in 2018.
The Ultimate Warrior will have his story told in season three of Dark Side Of The Ring. Warrior had a unique story in wrestling even before his untimely passing, just three days after being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. In the trailer for season three, Warrior’s ex-wife Shari Tyree is shown being interviewed. Warrior was married to Tyree for the majority of his first WWE run.

Other interviewees for the series include Chris Jericho, Jake Roberts, Jon Moxley, Eric Bischoff, Jim Cornette, and David Arquette.
