The TNA Star Who Helped Trish Stratus Prepare For WWE Royal Rumble Return

Trish Stratus has revealed which TNA Champion helped get her ready for the WWE Royal Rumble.

After previously teasing that she would make a return to the ring to mark 25 years since her debut, the Hall of Famer was a surprise entrant in the Women’s match at number 25. With Stratus having been out of the ring since her cage match against Becky Lynch at Payback 2023, the former Women’s Champion wanted to make sure that she was ready for the return.

Posting a video to social media of her preparation, Stratus is seen training with TNA star Jody Threat at Battle Arts Academy. The Hall of Famer noted that she was going to give 100% or would not do it at all and provided a brief montage of her training.

Making her debut for TNA back in 2023, Jody Threat is currently one-half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions alongside Dani Luna, known collectively as Spitfire. The duo are currently in their second reign as champions after defeating Masha Slamovich and Tasha Steelz.

While Stratus has teased more appearances as part of her 25th-anniversary celebrations, nothing has been announced at the time of writing.

Trish Stratus Talks Final Goals

With multiple reigns as Women’s Champion, history-making moments in the wrestling world and a Hall of Fame inductee, there is little left for Stratus to accomplish in the business. However, during a recent interview, Trish Stratus revealed a very unique goal she wanted to check off before officially retiring.

In other news, WWE star Dakota Kai broke her silence on returning from injury.
