Ahead of The Rock making his WWE return, plans for SmackDown have been changed on short notice.
On February 20th, news broke that The Rock would be making his return to TV on SmackDown the following night, with the Hollywood star adding he would “Deliver a big beautiful gift to the city of New Orleans and f**k up a certain someone’s life with the Final Boss gospel.”
Ahead of the show going on air, multiple reports have stated that The Final Boss making his return has altered previously scheduled plans for the show. As first reported by WrestleVotes, plans have been reworked with rumours that 2 matches originally set to place have been pulled from the show:
Tonight’s SmackDown plans have been reworked following the announcement of The Rock’s appearance. Rumblings that both Naomi vs. Liv Morgan and the six-man tag featuring Cody, Priest & Strowman vs. Solo, Jacob & Tama Tonga are off. Drew McIntyre vs Jimmy Uso is still scheduled to take place.

Although there has been no update regarding whether or not the Hollywood star will be appearing or competing at WrestleMania 41, The Rock’s gift to New Orleans looks to have been leaked ahead of time.
