The Rock’s Schedule Hints At WrestleMania Appearance

The Rock Dwayne Johnson

With rumours running rampant regarding The Rock’s role at WrestleMania 39, a report has emerged suggesting his schedule could accommodate the event.

Fans have been clamouring for The Rock to return to the wrestling ring for years as they hope to give him a final send-off fitting of the career of The Great One.

Already a wrestling icon, Dwayne Johnson parlayed that success into an incredible movie career that has seen him become the highest-paid actor in the world. With a hit sitcom based on his life airing on NBC and renewed for a third season, a football league, and a tequila brand to his name, life has never been quiet since Johnson moved away from the wrestling world again following his three-year feud with John Cena that culminated at WrestleMania 29.

Since then WWE appearances have been sporadic for The Rock with perhaps his most memorable one coming at WrestleMania 32 when he defeated Erick Rowan in an impromptu match in a matter of seconds.

However, with WWE bringing WrestleMania to Hollywood in 2023 many fans have dreamed that the event could be the perfect place for The Rock to have the much longed-for “one more match.”

The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez has now noted that The Rock’s schedule for the beginning of 2023 is clear which could suggest that The People’s Champion will walk the Road To WrestleMania one more time.

His rumoured opponent for the event is the current Unified WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in what would be a match for the ages – with it already being hinted at on Young Rock – and a chance for the Anoa’i family to find out who really sits at The Head Of The Table.
