The Rock To Receive Insane Bonus Following New Executive Appointment

The Rock is set to receive a huge finanical incentive following a recent announcement regarding his new position

As announced by TKO Holdings, the parent company of WWE, The Rock has been appointed on the Board of Directors, with the company increasing the members from 11 to 13. Following the announcement, the TKO prospectus that was released in September 2023 has been updated to inform shareholders how the changes will affected the company, including Rock’s earnings.

Now in control of the trademark for The Rock, the intellectual proprty agreement will last for 10 years and inlcudes the rights to likeness and name in connection with WWE. Aditionally, Dwayne Johnson has been offered the opportunity to receive approximately $30 million in stock:

As consideration for Mr. Johnson’s services pursuant to the Services Agreement, and in respect of the intellectual property grants and licenses made by Mr. Johnson and his affiliates in connection therewith, Mr. Johnson is entitled to receive an award of restricted stock units in respect of TKO’s Class A common stock, par value $0.00001 per share (“Class A common stock”), in an amount equal to $30,000,007 based on a 30-day average of the daily volume-weighted average sales price per share of the Company’s common stock on the New York Stock Exchange, as such daily volume-weighted average sales price per share is reported by Bloomberg L.P. (the “Equity Award”).

An additional amendment notes how much Johnson received in royalties for merchandise and appearances on weekly programming and original content, which totalled $491,000. Johnson will also be able to continue receiving royalties from ny merchandise sold and further appearances.

In his first interview since being appointed on the Board of Directors, The Rock has publicly acknowledged Ari Emanuel.

The Rock Breaks His Own Record

In 2023, The Great One made one appearance for the company live an in-person on an episode of SmackDown in October 2023 alongside Pat McAfee. The appearance went viral on social media with more than 100 million views accross all platforms. The follow-up appearance on January 1st would shatter the exisiting record, something that The Rock is very gratfeul for.
