Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is set to reveal a new project with his business partners Dani Garcia and Dave Rienzi on Monday, January 11. Rocky noted that this new venture will unlock a “secret to balance & success”.
His 210 million Instagram followers were then given a sneak peak video which appeared to show a canned drink being manufactured – pointing towards a healthy energy drink.
The tagline for the new project that Rock is using is, “Healthy. Positive. Energy.” He then goes on to explain that he and his business partners have been working on this for the last 18 months and a full announcement will be dropping on January 11.
The #1 question my partners @danygarciaco @daverienzi & John Shulman (Founder Juggernaut Capital) and I are always asked, is what are our secrets to balance and success? Now we bring one of those secrets to you. HEALTHY. POSITIVE. ENERGY. Here’s a little HQ reveal of what my partners and I have been working on for the past 18 months for you and your families. We’re grateful to serve you. #HealthyPositiveEnergy • Stay tuned – our official full announcement drops next Monday, January 11th
The Rock has his hands in many pies at the moment, recently launching a festive boozy ice cream over the Christmas period, having successfully launched his Teremana tequila brand and continuing to grow his ever-successful, ‘Project Rock’, collaboration with Under Armour. This new #HealthyPositiveEnergy venture is sure to be a success with the Rock’s team behind it.
With the rumour mill in full force as we shortly head on the road to WrestleMania 37, speculation about whether the Rock would likely be making appearance always goes into overdrive – this year especially with his cousin Roman Reigns currently sitting at the head of the SmackDown and WWE Universal Championship table.
The Rock played down these suggestions on social media last month stating:
Rock [vs.] Roman Reigns, is it possible? I think anything’s possible. Sure, of course. I’m always open. You know, that’s the cool thing about the world of professional wrestling, is that there’s an adaptability to wrestling. You never say never in the world of pro wrestling and you never say no, never, with Vince McMahon, who, you know, has been one of my mentors in business for a very, very long time and a very, very close friend, and confidant. So you never say no. I think, you know, for something like that to happen, I think the venue would have to be right. I think the business model would have to be right, but, I’m very close with Roman and that’s family to me. So we’ll see.
As commented by ITR’s own Matt Tennant, 2022 would be a landmark year for The Rock to step back between the ropes for the final time. Not only would his retirement match be the pinnacle of WrestleMania 38, but it would also put a spotlight on the other ventures, ‘The Great One’, has sprouting up that year including the much talked about relaunch of the XFL.
