“The Rock Will Be President Of The United States” – Mark Henry

Mark Henry has predicted that The Rock will one day be President of the United States.

After a successful powerlifting career Mark Henry signed a 10-year contract with WWE in 1996. At around the same time a young Rocky Maivia was also taking his first steps with the company, eventually debuting at Survivor Series.

While Henry made his debut in April, he initially struggled to gain much momentum due to a series of injuries. However, the star began his rise up the card in January 1998 when he joined the Nation of Domination alongside The Rock, D’Lo Brown, Karma Mustafa and Farooq.

It was shortly after Henry’s arrival in the group that The Rock went out on his own and began his own journey to superstardom.

However, Mark Henry, who also trained with the Great One early in his career, has now revealed that he didn’t expect him to become the huge star that he did.

Speaking to Sportskeeda, the former World Champion said that he had never seen anyone work harder than the third-generation star before tipping him to become President of the United States.

“No, I can’t say I expected him to become who he became, but I knew that he had the work ethic for it. I’ve never seen anybody work harder than him. And what you see now is going to be minor. I’m calling my shot now. Dwayne Johnson will be president of the United States one day,”

Looking ahead to Rock’s potential political career, the now-AEW announcer said that he will be the President to inspire change in America.

“Not only will he be president, but he will be the change in America that everybody needs. And when he starts running for office…I’ve never been involved in politics in my life. When he decides to become a politician, I will do everything I can to support him – Democrat, Republican, Independent, I don’t care. Because I know he’ll do the right thing.”

Mark Henry remained with WWE until early 2021. Shortly after leaving the company he joined AEW where he works as a coach and announcer/interviewer. Speaking elsewhere, the star revealed the medical issue that is preventing him from getting back in the ring.
