The Rock, Mick Foley and Bret Hart all appeared on the IMPACT Bound For Glory kickoff show to honour Ken Shamrock ahead of The World’s Most Dangerous Man’s Hall of Fame induction. Vince McMahon was also mentioned in Shamrock’s speech.
The People’s Champion inducted Shamrock after the latest IMPACT Hall of Famer asked the multiple-time WWE Champion to do so via Twitter.
“Hey brother I am being Inducted into the Impact Wrestling HOF I would be very grateful if you could send a Induction greeting. After all I believe my time with you was my greatest memories in Wrestling. Thank you”
The Rock responded:
Congrats, my brother. Awesome news. I will take care of this and get it to you by this weekend.
And true to his word, The Great One inducted Shamrock on the Bound For Glory kickoff show.

The Rock wasn’t the only wrestling legend to congratulate Shamrock, though, with Bret Hart and Mick Foley also appearing. During his induction speech, Shamrock would thank Vince McMahon.
The Rock’s induction video saw The Great One praise Shamrock for boosting his credibility, and say he couldn’t have been the best good guy without the best bad guy.
Ken Shamrock becomes the first man ever to be in both the UFC and IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Fame respectively.
Shamrock will compete at Bound For Glory, where he faces former IMPACT World Champion Eddie Edwards.
