The Rock Kicks Off The Super Bowl With Electrifying Promo

The Rock Super Bowl

Another Super Bowl is in the books with the LA Rams besting the Cincinnati Bengals but the whole incredible game was kicked off by WWE icon The Rock.

The People’s Champion was already part of the promotion for the NFL’s annual showpiece as he appeared in a commercial for NBC promoting ‘Super Gold Sunday’ as a result of the Super Bowl and the Winter Olympics falling on the same day for the first time ever.

The Rock went one step further as only a pop culture icon like he can as he took to the field with both teams before kick-off to introduce the world to the biggest game in gridiron and fire up the already excited crowd inside the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

The eight-time WWE Champion launched into his famous introduction as he “Finally…” welcomed the world to the 61st annual Super Bowl.

On home soil, the LA Rams, competing in their second Super Bowl in four years and led by QB Matthew Stafford would not be denied victory. With the Rams going into the fourth quarter 20-16 down, Stafford drove his team down the field before finishing off a fine play with a 1-yard pass to Cooper Kupp to win the game.

After the win, WWE presented the LA Rams with their own custom WWE Championship belt to celebrate the occasion.

The SoFi Stadium may become even more familiar to The Rock as it will play host to WrestleMania 39 in 2023. According to recent reports, The Great One’s name may already be pencilled in for a bout on The Grandest Stage Of Them All one more time.
