The Hollywood and WWE megastar initially shared news of his injury on June 11th, explaining that he sustained the injury while filming “The Smashing Machine,” a biographical film portraying the life of former MMA fighter Mark Kerr.

The film, directed by Benny Safdie and distributed by A24, delves into the life of Mark Kerr, a prominent figure in the MMA world.

In a video posted on Instagram, Rock showcased his swollen elbow, describing it humorously as resembling a cantaloupe. He emphasised that although there might be some soft tissue damage, the injury doesn’t seem to be as serious as it looks. He expressed gratitude for the love and healing recommendations from his fans and reassured them that he was back to work on the movie.
