Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has embodied the spirit of Christmas and lived up to his ‘Great One’ nickname, surprising a father in need at the most wonderful time of the year.
Taking to Twitter in order to attempt to raise money for his children’s Christmas, user Jays Nerdy Life tagged The Rock in a tweet with the simple request that ‘The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment’ retweet his advert for an eBay page named NerdyComicBooks.
The page was set-up in order that the person in question could raise enough money to provide his children with Christmas after a hard year and consists of collectables from the world of comic books packaged by collectors.
Tweeting the mega-star, he wrote:
“Hi Rock! I’m like your biggest fan! So I could use your help please. I’m trying to raise some money to be able to provide my children with a Christmas this year. If it’s not to much to ask, Would you please consider retweeting this please. Thank U.”
However, the user got more than he bargained for when ‘The People’s Champion’ responded to the message and said that he had a little more in mind than just a retweet, christening himself Dwanta Claus:
“You’re this kind of dad and a retweet is all you want? I have a little bit more in mind for you. Stay ready. You’re a good man, Jay. We need more like you. ~ Dwanta Claus.”

The end result was seen during the latest episode of Some Good News with John Krasinski where the Great One revealed he’d buy everything on the children’s’ Christmas lists on top of inviting them to watch him film some of the upcoming Black Adam film as well as giving the dad his script from the movie.
Inside the Ropes will keep you up to date with this story when The Rock rides his brahma bulls to the rescue and delivers the promised Christmas surprise.
