The Rock Awarded Millions [And Millions] Of Dollars Of TKO Stock

The Rock Among GQ's Men Of The Year Winners

The Rock ended 2024 with a huge payday of TKO Stock.

As part of his return to WWE in January 2024, the Hollywood megastar was also announced as a member of the TKO Group Holdings Board of Directors. The move saw him sign a new services and merchandising agreement with the company, granting him full intellectual property rights to “The Rock” name and related trademarks.

As part of the arrangement, Johnson received a substantial grant of restricted TKO stock units, including an initial vesting of 96,557 shares in December 2024 and the remaining shares to vest monthly throughout 2025.

On December 31st, 2024, a new SEC filing revealed that Dwayne Johnson received 96,557 Class A shares of TKO stock, as part of his appointment to the TKO Board. The shares, valued at $13.75 million, represent half of a 193,115-share grant, with the remainder vesting monthly in 2025. Johnson now holds 289,673 shares, worth over $41 million.

Is The Rock Going To Be At WWE WrestleMania 41?

At WrestleMania 40, The People’s Champion was involved in the heated rivalry between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes but despite his best efforts, he was unable to stop Rhodes from winning the title.

On the post WrestleMania 40 edition of Monday Night Raw, Rhodes was confronted by The Final Boss leaving speculation that the two were on track to face off at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. This conjecture was further heightened when he made a surprise return at Bad Blood to stare down The American Nightmare.

However, there is much confusion over these rumours.

One report states, The Rock’s Hollywood commitments could halt his appearance in Las Vegas while Dave Meltzer disclosed there is belief within the company that The Rock will be present at WrestleMania, although his role has yet to be finalized.
