The Riott Squad are looking to add a third member and their top choice seems to be a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion who is looking for a new role.
After defeating Natalya and Billie Kay on the December 11 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan gave a WWE Network Exclusive interview in which they discussed adding Kay to the group.
“Honestly, we don’t want to look at Billie Kay’s resume ’cause she’s been kind of putting it in our face. But when you’re trying to give us guidance — let’s just pump the breaks a little bit. I’m just throwing that out there.”
Following her questionable split from partner, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay has been seemingly lost on the blue brand with little to do. In recent weeks, however, she has been involved in a tale where she hands her resume to various people in the hopes that they will employ her.
One such person Kay gave her resume to was WWE authority figure, Adam Pearce, who then set the cat amongst the pigeons by tweeting out a tease that the Australian could be in line for his personal assistant.
The aforementioned tag team outing on December 11 came about one week prior, when Billie Kay gave her list to Riott and Morgan on an edition of Talking Smack. Noting that she could be a valuable asset to the team thanks to being a former champion, the star was told to find a partner and meet the chums in the middle of the ring.
