Giri mentioned that Desmond Xavier, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz have been made a standing offer by the promotion for their services after their departure from IMPACT Wrestling on November 17. Though no deal has been made official by either party, the journalist orated:
“It is just considered a formality and they are expected to join the company.”
It was reported by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter last week that the trio were officially departing IMPACT Wrestling after the company offered them a sum that was below their expectations.
With The Good Brothers, The North and The Motor City Machine Guns on the roster, The Rascalz were never going to break the glass ceiling they were aiming for, noted Meltzer.
Though the celebrated journalist did cite there was a chance the team could still head to All Elite Wrestling, it was his firm belief they would sign with WWE in the very near future and make their NXT television debut not long after.
The Rascalz were exiled from The Treehouse seven days ago and will compete in their final bout on the brand on the upcoming edition of IMPACT when Miguel and Rich Swann will do battle with Xavier and Wentz.
Inside the Ropes will keep you updated on The Rascalz situation.
