Cody Rhodes’ wrestling School The Nightmare Factory made a surprise appearance in a new vignette as it’s founder prepares to face Seth Rollins one more time.
For the first time since he returned to the company, WWE showcased Cody Rhodes’ wrestling school and training facility, The Nightmare Factory.
Interestingly, the facility was home to AEW Dynamite in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The show later switched to Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida which has since become synonymous with the company. AEW returned to live touring in July 2021.
In the new video clip, Cody Rhodes is shown working out as he prepares to face Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell. In the vignette, Rhodes discusses his preparations for his clash inside the Devil’s Playground.
“This is the place I can make myself bulletproof,” Rhodes said, referring to The Nightmare Factory. “It’s so difficult to prepare for something like a structure that we’re getting ready to encounter because it’s not just the height, it’s not just the fact that you’re locked in there with one of the absolute best wrestlers in the world. I don’t think people realize chain-link, it’s not rubber. Every little piece of Hell in a Cell can hurt you, you’re locked in there, you’re locked inside.”

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins first went to war at WrestleMania 38 when the American Nightmare returned to WWE for the first time since 2016.
After Rhodes emerged victorious, Rollins laid down a challenge for a rematch at WrestleMania Backlash, which again, Rhodes won. The second successive loss sent Rollins into a further downward spiral setting up the third and final match at Hell in a Cell.
