Offensive Lineman Parker Boudreaux was reportedly backstage at NXT, according to Fightful Select.
As the report suggests, Parker Boudreaux was backstage at NXT last night (20/01/21). Parker does have a striking comparison to Brock Lesnar and also refers to himself as ‘The Next Big Thing’. This of course being the nickname of the WWE & UFC star and is also the name of Brock’s theme song.
While speaking to Michael Morales Torres of Lucha Libre Online, Boudreaux was asked what he thought of Brock Lesnar and the comparisons which fans have made between him and The Beast Incarnate.
I think Brock Lesnar is a tremendous athlete, and while I do take it as a compliment to be told we look alike, I look forward to people getting to see my own unique identity and character in professional wrestling, as well as watch me be my own person. I’m one of a kind. The Next Big Thing.
Recently, Parker shared an image on his Twitter account teasing fans that “2021 is going to be something SPECIAL“. A post which grabbed the attention of the Advocate to Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman. Paul had a few choice words of his own regarding Boudreaux!
His tweet is not a prediction. It’s a spoiler.

But it was AEW commentator and WWE Hall of Famer Jim ‘JR’ Ross who highlighted the young talent back in April 2020. Not holding back, JR’s immediate response to a workout video posted by Parker was to say “Hope to see you in @AEWrestling some day Parker!”

The report didn’t note why he could be backstage at NXT, however based on the tweets between Heyman and himself, and the regular suggestions pointing him towards the wrestling industry, it looks like ‘The Next Big Thing 2.0‘ could be coming to a wrestling ring sometime in the near future.
