The New Day are to auction off their iconic 2021 Royal Rumble attire that paid tribute to the late Jon ‘Brodie Lee’ Huber.

Appearing backstage at the elimination spectacle on January 31, all three members of the legendary stable reunited for the first time since Survivor Series when Big E accompanied Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to the ring.

However, it was what the trio were wearing that caught the eye of the viewer more than the reunion as all three men were donned in gear that sported classic images of their friend Brodie Lee. It was a touching sight to behold as Woods turned around to reveal a beautifully illustrated emblem of the star on the rear of his jacket.

Now, the stars are going to auction off their attire to raise money for Foodlink, which was said to be a charity close to Jon Huber’s heart as the non-profit organisation aids those in need of food and has been a lifeline to hundreds of thousands who have been made unemployed by the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Current WWE Intercontinental Champion, Big E, took to social media to announce the auction in memory of their fallen friend:

“The city of Rochester meant a lot to Jon. @FoodlinkNY is a Rochester-based non-profit that’s dedicated to feeding those in need in the area. We’ll be auctioning off our Royal Rumble gear with all of the proceeds going to @FoodlinkNY.”

Big E then followed his words up with a second tweet should anyone wish to donate to the charity themselves.

While Kofi Kingston was unable to compete in the Royal Rumble Match thanks to a broken jaw, Big E made the biggest splash of the team entering tenth and lasting 29:45. During that time, the star eliminated Sami Zayn, Mustafa Ali, and assisted in the eliminations of Bobby Lashley and The Hurricane before being pulled over the top rope by Omos who was not an official entrant in the bout itself.
