The New Day Reunite For The First Time Since Big E’s Injury

The New Day have appeared together as a trio for the first time since Big E suffered a serious neck injury earlier in 2022.

On March 11th, 2022, The New Day’s Big E suffered a broken neck. The former WWE Champion has since been at home recovering and recently helping out with WWE try-outs during SummerSlam weekend.

With WWE’s working partnership with G4 TV and Xavier Woods being a host for the network, it was only a matter of time before Kofi Kingston, and Big E joined their New Day brother. In the newest video for G4’s Attack of the Show, cast members Will Neff and Case Blackwell were playing with pro wrestling action figures when suddenly The New Day appeared, offering them a Fully Opposable Action figure.

Blackwell is turned into a giant wrestling figure that Neff can play with. As bizarre and surreal as this may seem for some, it is the first time The New Day has been seen onscreen together since Big E’s neck injury.

In late August, Big E stated that while he has no nerve issues and is hitting the gym, he’s still far from being cleared to compete. After taking an over-head Belly-to-Belly suplex outside the ring the former WWE Champion fractured his C1 and C6 vertebrae.

At time of writing there is no official confirmation if and when the star will be able to return to the ring, although the man himself has explained that he’ll know more after an evaluation March 2023.
