After being humiliated by the Mysterios at Elimination Chamber, The Miz went to call for backup, and a new report might have just revealed who was on the other end of the phone!
On the Elimination Chamber pre-show, The Miz squared off against Rey Mysterio. The pair had become entangled in a rivalry on Monday Night Raw in recent weeks, with multiple matches ending in contentious circumstances.
Despite clearly feeling that he had been wronged and had a score to settle The Miz was eventually defeated by Mysterio. Not only that he was attacked after the match and hit with a synchronised 619 and multiple Frog-Splashes as Dominik also got his own revenge for Miz’s actions on Raw.
Later on in the show, Miz was interviewed backstage where he said that he was going to find a big-name partner to help in his battle with the father and son team. Despite speculation that the mystery man might be Cody Rhodes, it has been reported that Logan Paul will be stepping in to come to the former World Champion’s aid.
The report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, notes that the plan is for the mystery partner to be Logan Paul, potentially setting up a match at WrestleMania 38.

Although any appearance by Logan Paul remains very much unconfirmed at this stage, at Elimination Chamber a number of matches were added to the WrestleMania 38 card.
The show opened with the Universal Championship match between champion Roman Reigns and WWE Hall of Famer, Goldberg. Despite the challenger delivering two Spears during the hard-hitting contest, it was Reigns who eventually scored the win.
At the other end of proceedings, in the main event, Brock Lesnar won a chaotic Elimination Chamber match to win the WWE Title. He claimed the championship following a stupendous F-5 on Austin Theory from the top of one of the pods inside the structure.
The victory confirmed a huge WrestleMania 38 “Title vs. Title” showdown between Reigns and Lesnar.
Meanwhile, Bianca Belair won the women’s Elimination Chamber match, earning herself a shot at Becky Lynch on the ‘Grandest stage of them all.’ On the show, Lynch successfully defended her Raw Women’s Championship against Lita.
