Miz will feature on Team Ryan, coached by Utah Jazz President Ryan Smith, alongside team mates that include Calvin Johnson, Marcos Mion, Sinqua Walls, Kane Brown, Diamond DeShields and Everett Osborne.

They will clash with Team Dwayne, led by Jazz minority team owner Dwayne Wade, who boast DK Metcalf, Ranveer Singh, Hasan Minhaj, Nicky Jam and Alex Toussaint amongst their number.

It marks a prestigious day in the NBA calendar and has attracted some huge global names to participate since its inception in 2005, with former MVP’s of the game including Nelly, Justin Bieber and Kevin Hart.

The two-time former WWE Champion is no stranger to mainstream attention having appeared in the 2021 edition of mega show Dancing With The Stars, ultimately finishing in 9th place alongside dance partner Witney Carson.

He also hit the headlines during a famous feud that saw him headline Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta, Georgia, where he retained his WWE Championship with victory over John Cena thanks to interference from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

It’s not the first time that wrestling and the NBA have crossed paths, with basketball mega star Shaquille O’Neal participating in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 32, going to nose to nose with The Big Show before both men were eliminated.

Perhaps most famously former Chicago Bulls player Dennis Rodman joined forces with Hulk Hogan to take on Utah Jazz legend Karl Malone and Diamond Dallas Page and WCW Bash At The Beach 1998.

The annual game will take place on Friday 17th February at the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
