The Match That Bianca Belair Admits Was “The Most Embarrassing” Of Her WWE Career

The Match That Bianca Belair Admits Was

Bianca Belair does not look back on one WWE match particularly fondly.

From her main roster debut at WrestleMania 36 Belair has had a number of standout moments in her in-ring career including a Royal Rumble victory, being one-half of the first women’s singles match to main event WrestleMania and a number of viral moments that proved that she really is The EST. However, not every match was a highlight for all the right reasons.

At SummerSlam 2021, Belair saw her first title reign come to a devastating end when a returning Becky Lynch defeated Belair in just 26 seconds, leaving many infuriated with the result. Looking back on the match while speaking with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Belair admitted she had never been more embarrassed and that her parents were also in attendance for the infamous encounter:

“26 seconds at SummerSlam, that’s the most embarrassed I’ve ever been. My parents were in the audience, they didn’t know what was going on, they had no idea what was happening,’ she recalled. ‘I felt really bad for them.”

Continuing, Belair also noted that there is a chance of being embarrassed on every show as it is live around the world:

‘I risk getting embarrassed every time I go out there on live TV, so I have to just let it go. We go on live TV every day, with the possibility of embarrassing ourselves, so I kind of just expect it.’

In a previous interview, Bianca Belair shared too much information about a recent match with Nia Jax.

Bianca Belair Praises Becky Lynch

While the events that occurred at SummerSlam 2021 were not well received by the fans, many directed their anger at the creative team as opposed to the performers. Also not a fan of the booking, Lynch wrote about the events that took place in her autobiography and how she made it her mission to make Belair look like a star in the lead-up to their match at WrestleMania 38, where Belair avenged the loss. Speaking with Inside The Ropes at Clash at the Castle, Bianca Belair opened up about Becky Lynch’s support both inside and outside of WWE.
