The IInspiration Win IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Titles

In their first match since their respective WWE releases, The IInspiration captured the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship at Bound For Glory!

Nearly 14 months on from their last match as a team, Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay looked like they’d never been apart when they defeated Decay to win the Knockouts Tag Team titles!

In the show’s opener, the duo formerly known as The IIconics made their presence felt in their IMPACT Wrestling debut. Going toe-to-toe with Rosemary and Jessica Havok, the former WWE stars picked up the win after a back-and-forth bout with a powerbomb/neckbreaker combination – winning tag team gold for the first time since August 2019.

The two were accompanied by Harley Cameron as they made their way to the ring, the vocalist of their new self-titled entrance theme. Earlier this year, Cameron released the song ‘Indestructible’ alongside WWE’s Shotzi Blackheart and Scarlett Bordeaux.

With this win, The IInspiration become the first team in history to win both the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and Knockouts Tag Team Championship. The two won the former titles at WrestleMania 35 from Bayley & Sasha Banks, holding them for 120 days before being dethroned by Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross.

Elsewhere on Bound For Glory: Trey Miguel won the vacant X-Division Championship, Jordynne Grace became the inaugural IMPACT Digital Media Champion and NJPW’s Rocky Romero made a surprise appearance in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match!
