The IIconics have taken to social media to tease their first new venture since being released by WWE back in April.
Posting on Instagram, the pair linked to a new account called “Off Her Chops” which is listed as a podcast.
Since being released, the pair have somewhat flown under the radar, giving little away about their future plans. Neither performer has announced a return to the ring, but both stars were featured in a promo package for IMPACT Slammiversary alongside fellow newly released stars such as Samoa Joe and Chelsea Green.
Meanwhile Peyton Royce recently filed a trademark for the name “Cassie Lee.” Royce has also changed her name on social media to the new alias.
Both Peyton Royce and Billie Kay signed with WWE back in 2015. The Australian duo had previously competed against each other in Australia but soon formed a team on NXT. The pair known as The Iconic Duo remained on the black and gold brand until April 2018.
The team now simply known as The IIconics debuted on SmackDown attacking Charlotte Flair. The highpoint for the pair in WWE came at WrestleMania 35 where they won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
The IIconics dispended in the summer of 2020 after losing to the Riott Squad. Royce and Kay were then drafted to opposing brands that October.
Both stars were released alongside the likes of Mickie James and Samoa Joe on April 15th 2021.
