The Hilarious Way AEW Star Will Ospreay Wants To End His In-Ring Career

Will Ospreay has detailed how he wants his in-ring career to come to a close, potentially getting someone in a lot of trouble in the process.

At 31 years old, Ospreay has already established himself as one of the best wrestlers of the modern era with critically acclaimed matches against the likes of Kazuchika Okada, Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega. While Ospreay’s style is not for everyone, something that the British wrestler is very much aware of, the AEW star has built up a sizeable fan base who look forward to his fast-paced matches.

Given the career Ospreay has had so far, many are expecting the former International Champion to go out in a big way. According to The Aerial Assassin, he does have something planned that management would not be pleased about.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Ospreay was asked if he has thought about how much longer he will wrestle. While the AEW star admitted that he does not want to think about it too much, he would love to yell a certain word on live TV:

“I don’t like thinking of it. I think I will one day just disappear. I will just go, Ah, this is me. I won’t have anything really. [You won’t have a final match?] Oh no, of course I will. But then that was the day I will grab the microphone on live TV and say the C word, and then just drop the mic, ruin this and then I’ll just go be a postman somewhere. Like that big Sting retirement, where everyone’s like coming out and like cupping their hands, tears in their eyes, and I just grab the microphone and go ‘C*nt!’ That’s the way I want to go out.”

Will Ospreay Responds To The Critics

As previously mentioned, some wrestling fans do like Ospreay’s matches with the dangerous bumps and lack of selling being two of the biggest issues. In response to this, Will Ospreay issued a response, pointing out that the critiques would not be as strong if he signed with WWE.

Also in the interview, Will Ospreay revealed his dream job after wrestling.
