The Good Brothers will remain with IMPACT Wrestling for a bit longer.
The Good Brothers – Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows – have been a prevalent tag team in Impact Wrestling. The duo won the Impact World Tag Team Championships for the first time after dethroning The North in 2020.
It was reported that Anderson and Gallows’ contracts with the company would be up very soon. Some speculated that the duo wouldn’t re-sign; however, it appears the two still have some business to take care of in the company for the time being.
Fightful Select reported that the duo will remain with the company “at least until the end of summer.” The report noted that there is no indication of where they will end up after their contract expires, but a return to IMPACT Wrestling is still on the table.
Originally, the contracts of both men were set to expire on July 17, just after this weekend’s tapings in Louisville. We’ve learned from Impact sources that the Gallows and Anderson are with the company “at least until late in the Summer”. The two joined IMPACT after being released by WWE, and said they were given the same deal IMPACT offered when they were impending free agents in 2019. Since joining IMPACT, the two have been heavily pushed and have won the tag team titles twice.
We don’t have an indication as to where the Bullet Club duo is likely to head after that period, but it was reiterated to us that a return to IMPACT is possible. We’ve spoken two people from at least two companies who have indicated there’s interest in them, and they’ve worked New Japan Pro Wrestling Dates numerous times over the past year, in addition to AEW.
Anderson and Gallows signed a two-year contract with IMPACT after their WWE departure in 2020. The two rejoined The Bullet Club at Windy City Riot this past April. It should also be noted that the two are still committed to NJPW through at least Wrestle Kingdom.
