The Godfather has detailed Vince McMahon’s reaction when he and his family were confronted by the star through the haze of an elevator filled with pot smoke.
The conductor of the ‘Ho Train’ is a self-confessed habitual pot smoker, so much so that he recently detailed how The Rock stopped travelling with him due to his penchant for blazing one up.
Speaking on the Generation of Wrestling podcast, The Godfather revealed Vince McMahon’s reaction when he found came face to face with the real-life Charles Wright and his good friend, known only as Big Worm after they had turned an elevator into their own hotbox:
“Big Worm would smoke, it didn’t matter where we were, man, he’d smoke. He didn’t care if it was an elevator, he didn’t care. He’s in an elevator just puffing, chiefing. The elevator opens up and those four [Linda, Shane, Stephanie, and Vince McMahon] are standing there. Vince is just looking at me as there’s smoke coming out of the elevator. Vince says, ‘Charles, I think we’ll take the next one.’”
The Godfather then went on to discuss his love for the WWE Chairman and says despite numerous similar incidents McMahon has always “been cool” with the WWE Hall Of Famer:
“You know what, I love Vince McMahon to death, man, because he has let me be me, and believe me, bro, that’s saying a lot. There’s been a lot of incidents like that with Vince, but Vince was always cool with me. To this day… maybe not after today! He’s always been cool with me, man.”
