Tony Khan remains very optimistic as he continues to tease what could be the biggest announcements in AEW history.
In less than 2 weeks, All Elite Wrestling will once again host All In at Wembley Stadium, which will be its biggest show of the year with around 50,000 fans expected to be in attendance for the show. While many are excited about what is going on in front of the camera, Khan has stated that big things are also happening behind the scenes.
Recently on social media, Tony Khan stated that he would be making “The most important announcements in AEW history.” With Khan’s big announcements being known for not always living up to the hype, fans are curious if this will actually deliver or will be another case of Khan overpromising but underdelivering.
Speaking with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Khan would not further divulge what the announcements would be or when they would be delivered but that they would be revealed imminently:
It is a very exciting time in AEW for many reasons…We’re days away from AEW All In on August 25. This is the most important and exciting time in AEW’s history. In addition to what is happening in the ring, there are so many exciting things happening behind the scenes at AEW right now. We’re on the verge of the most important announcements in the history of AEW. There are multiple aspects.
The arrival of these announcements is imminent. We’ll have big news that could come at any time. Isn’t that the best kind of wrestling surprise when you know something is coming and you want it and it’s exciting, but you’re not sure when it’s going to happen? You have that feeling it’s going to happen. In this case, I have more than a feeling to paraphrase Boston. I have been working on this for a long time. We have a great team here. The future of AEW is very bright.
Tony Khan Remains Committed To AEW
While Khan continues to defend his promotion and looks to do everything possible to make it succeed, he does not believe that everyone shares his passion. peaking in a recent interview, Tony Khan stated that a lot of people were trying to stop AEW.
While Tony Khan is excited about the future, members of the AEW locker room have expressed concerns.
