Expressing his sentiments on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff emphasised the significance of this potential reunion, envisioning it as a fitting conclusion to the iconic duo’s wrestling journey.
I mean I would like to see it, right? That’s a happy ending with an amazing journey and story and two guys who have contributed a lot and made so many memorable moments.
Matt’s tenure with WWE concluded in March 2020 upon the expiration of his contract, with his final appearance on Raw occurring in January of the same year. On the other hand, Jeff participated in his last match with the company on December 4th, 2021, during a Six-Man Tag Team match, from which he unexpectedly exited midway. Following an incident at a house show, Jeff was subsequently released from his contract.
Despite Bischoff’s heartfelt wish, the realisation of The Hardy Boyz’ final match in WWE remains uncertain.
