“The End Of An Era” – WWE Star Breaks Silence After Faction’s Official Disbandment

The Final Edition Of WWE NXT Ahead Of The Great American Bash 2025

The final edition of WWE NXT before The Great American Bash witnessed much chaos and feuds, with multiple stars cementing their spot at the Premium Live Event.

A clip aired during the show, featuring Tony D’ Angelo, Adriana Rizzo, Crusifino, and Stacks, formerly known as The Family. Recent events, led to tension among all members. They claimed to have each other’s best interests at heart even when it seemed like a betrayal.

Last week, Luca Crusifino and Tony D’ Angelo met for a confrontation, which ended in Stacks trying to diffuse the situation. Things escalated when Crusifino attacked Tony D’ Angelo and Stacks. The once close group that referred to themselves as a family was disconnected. Last month, Crusifino accidentally hit Tony D’ Angelo during his match for the Heritage Cup, and a later confrontation turned violent, resulting in their isolated relationship today.

This week, Adriana Rizzo sent everyone individual invites to come to terms of some sort of an agreement. Fed up with the chaos, Rizzo announced that she had spoken with Ava and set up a triple-threat match among the male members of the now-defunct group for NXT next week.

Following this, Adriana Rizzo shared a heartfelt post on X (Twitter) bidding farewell to the faction for good.

“The end of an era. Being a part of The D’Angelo Family is a chapter of my life that I’ll cherish forever. We laughed, fought, celebrated, and built something special together. This wasn’t just a faction—it was a family. As we all set off on our own paths, I’ll carry the memories, lessons, and bonds we made for life. La famiglia per sempre”

Tavion Heights Barely Escaped A Scary Accident On WWE NXT

Tension had been brewing between Charlie Dempsey and Tavion Heights in the New Quarter Catch Crew for a long while. It brimmed to the surface when they decided to have a match on NXT, and if Heights won, he would have the liberty of exiting the group.

During the match, as Tavion Heights and Charlie Dempsey were brawling outside the ring, the former’s foot got stuck in the steel steps. Dempsey did not prevent any blows and continued the match. Heights was in visible agony but managed to escape. Dempsey focused on the injured foot, forcing Wren Sinclair to throw in the towel on Tavion Heights’ behalf.

Meanwhile, Joe Hendry and Mike Santana defeated High Ryze only to be attacked by TNA Champion Trick Williams and Wes Lee. The Culling seems to have found a new member in Tatum Paxley. NXT Champion Oba Femi and Yoshiki Inamura had a final confrontation ahead of their title match this weekend.
