The Elite Vs Death Triangle Best Of Seven Series Announced

Kenny Omega picks up Penta during The Elite vs. Death Triangle

After the much-anticipated bout between The Elite and Death Triangle at AEW Full Gear ended in controversial circumstances, the company has taken steps to definitively decide just who the best trios team is.

The Elite fall to Death Triangle

At Full Gear, The Elite made their triumphant return to AEW to a rapturous ovation from the audience in attendance.

The bout kicked off with a rejuvenated Kenny Omega getting in the ring with PAC. The former AEW World Champion took the advantage early, but PAC refused to stay down and spit in Omega’s face.

The pace of the action continued to increase throughout the match until things broke down completely. Omega launched himself over the top rope, before Matt Jackson flattened Rey Fenix with a DDT on the ring apron. This was followed by Nick Jackson hitting a top rope Huricanrana from the top rope to the bodies below on Penta.

Amidst the chaos, PAC decided it was time to fight dirty and threw a hammer in for Rey Fenix to use on Omega. Initially, Fenix refused, wanting to take the high road, but he almost fell to The Best Bout Machine and later found himself on the receiving end of a BTE Trigger.

PAC once again threw the hammer in for Fenix as Kenny Omega picked up the Mexican star for the One Winged Angel. This time, a desperate Fenix attacked Omega with the weapon and rolled him up for the controversial win.
