WWE NXT has been rife with debuts and returns as of recent weeks, but two may have flown under the radar on last night’s NXT in the Cavinder Twins.
The Wrestling Observer made note that Haley and Hannah Cavinder actually made their WWE TV debut last night. The two young female athletes apparently could be seen celebrating with Thea Hail following her battle royal win last night. The victory meant Hail is the new number one contender for the NXT Women’s Title and following the final elimination, Hail was hoisted up on the shoulders of Haley and Hannah Cavinder, representing Chase U.
Get The Background Behind The Cavinder Twins
Hannah and Haley Cavinder happened to tease their appearance after the two shared a photo of themselves at the Peformance Center earlier in the day with a very simple caption:
“You may see your new fav tag team in the ring tonight.”
Both Haley and Hannah were two of the inaugural recruits for WWE’s NIL program (also known as “Next In Line”) back in 2021 alongside Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson. The two sisters were collegiate athele stand-outs at Fresno State University in the women’s basketball progam. When they signed those deals, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that WWE viewed them as the upcoming successors to the Bella Twins. Hannah, Haley and Steveson joined 12 other athletes from four different types of sports in the inaugural class. Haley and Hannah were such great athletes that they were reportedly set to be recruited by WWE even before the NIL program began.
