More top stars could be following in Jay Lethal’s footsteps with Ring Of Honor stalwarts The Briscoes reportedly backstage at AEW Dynamite.
Ring Of Honor recently announced that the company was going on a hiatus after their Final Battle show in December. Those contracted to the promotion have been allowed to take other bookings immediately but dependent on their contracts they will be let go from ROH at either the end of the year or at the end of March 2022.
Jay Lethal is one star who has found a new home following what could be the ultimate demise of Ring Of Honor. The two-time ROH Champion was unveiled by Tony Schiavone at Full Gear and immediately set his sights on Sammy Guevara and the TNT Championship. Reports following Lethal’s appearance say that he won’t be part of Ring Of Honor’s Final Battle.
According to Fightful Select, Lethal is not the only Ring Of Honor veteran that could become All Elite. Eleven-time Ring Of Honor World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes were reportedly backstage at AEW Dynamite on Wednesday as the show emanated from Norfolk, Virginia.
The report goes on to say that a source claims that Jay and Mark Briscoe were just visiting as the show was less than three hours away from where the brothers live in Delaware. Ring Of Honor is reportedly also working with talent to release them from their contracts early if they wish to do so. Jay Lethal is said to have exercised that option but there is no word if Dem Boyz The Briscoes are looking to do the same.
