The AEW Star Paul Wight Says Is “One Of The Nicest, Humble Human Beings”

The AEW Star Paul Wight Says Is

Paul Wight recently shared high praise for fellow AEW star Will Hobbs, highlighting him as one of the most humble individuals in the professional wrestling industry.

During his appearance on the “Downunder The Ring” podcast, Paul Wight commended Hobbs not only for his physical presence but also for his character and willingness to improve.

Will Hobbs is amazing. I have nothing but nice things to say about Will. One, he looks like an absolute monster; two, he’s one of the nicest, humble human beings — I’ve met a lot of people in this business — Will Hobbs is top three most humble, nice people I’ve met.

Wight emphasised Hobbs’ eagerness to learn and adapt, noting how receptive he is to feedback.

When you talk to Will Hobbs and give him advice from your perspective — because I tell talent all the time, ‘You can take any information, process it, it may work for you, it may not, but listen to it.’ You give Will Hobbs advice, like, ‘Hey, man, this, this, and this,’ he will go out and try it and change it, and he’ll make a change immediately.

The wrestling legend contrasted Hobbs’ attitude with some stars who seek only praise rather than constructive criticism. He recalled the tough advice he received from The Undertaker early in his career, emphasising the importance of honest feedback for young wrestlers. Wight noted that while he typically advises Hobbs on character development, he refrains from critiquing his in-ring performance.
