Kofi Kingston has tipped Logan Paul to have a bright WWE future after making an impressive start to his in-ring career.
After making his debut all of the way back in 2006, and debuting with WWE just a year later, Kofi Kingston has quietly become something of an in-ring veteran.
Having being around the wrestling business for well over 15 years means that the former World Champion has seen a lot of stars come and go.
Speaking to TMZ, Kingston cast his eye over WWE’s most recent big-name recruit Logan Paul. The YouTuber made his debut at WrestleMania 38 in tag team action before wrestling his first singles match at SummerSlam. The New Day star tipped Logan for big things in WWE, adding that he “shouldn’t be that good, that quickly.”
“To me, it just makes sense,” Kingston said. “When you think about how popular Logan Paul is and even his entire story. His come-up and what he’s been able to do in the world of boxing and entertainment in general, it would only make sense for us to be hand in glove. He has a bright future ahead of him. To see what he did in the ring is very impressive. Especially as a performer who has seen a lot of people and has gone through the whole learning process, he shouldn’t be that good, that quickly.”
Logan Paul is set to appear on the September 16th episode of SmackDown after being invited to attend the show by Triple H. Paul had recently claimed that he believes he could be the one to dethrone Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
