Throughout the second half of 2022 WWE have been busy re-signing a number of former Superstars, and now Tegan Nox can be added to the ever-expanding list!
On the December 2nd edition of SmackDown, Damage CTRL came to the ring to get a few things off their chest. Microphone in hand, Bayley broke down their recent performance inside WarGames, and the toll that it took on their bodies. In the process she put down the SmackDown locker room, something that Liv Morgan didn’t take kindly.
Tegan Nox Takes Down Damage CTRL
The former SmackDown Women’s Champion came to the stage, and despite the odds being very much against her, she rushed the ring and took the fight to Damage CTRL. However, it wasn’t long before the numbers game caught up with the star, but as it turned out she wasn’t alone.
With Morgan being beaten down Tegan Nox made her shock return to get in on the action. Although she was also being quickly outnumbered, Morgan returned to the ring with a kendo stick, leaving the pair to stand tall.
Interestingly, Dakota Kai recently revealed that Knox was originally supposed to be part of Damage CTRL when the stable was first spoken about two years ago.
Despite enduring something of a stop-start beginning to her WWE career, Tegan Nox finally made it to the main roster in July 2021.
Nox was initially meant to take part in the 2017 Mae Young Classic but was forced to withdraw due to injury. Her next outing came in the 2018 edition of the tournament, where after making it through two rounds, she again had to pull out due to a serious knee injury.
The Welsh star finally arrived in NXT in the summer of 2019 feuding with Kay Lee Rae. However, the Welsh star was struck down by a knee serious injury for a third time in September 2020.
After initially teaming with Shotzi Blackheart on SmackDown the pair were split up in the 2021 Draft with Nox heading to Raw. However, she was released in November, before even appearing on the red brand.
