‘The Girl With The Shiniest Wizard’ Tegan Nox, joined the broadcast of WWE Watch Along on Friday night to cover the first night of the 2020 WWE Draft.
While on the show, the Welsh wonder had time to speak about her recent injury and updated everyone on her recovery and rehabilitation which stemmed from her torn ACL and recent surgery to repair the grievance:
“I’m doing great. I mean, I’m way ahead of schedule on the rehab [post surgery], so it’s just a waiting game right now. I’m trying to do as much as I can but the new puppy [Marvel] is something else.”
It was reported on September 30 that Tegan Nox had suffered her third ACL tear in four years which couldn’t have come at a worse time. After rising up the NXT food chain, Nox had finished her feud with former friend Dakota Kai, challenged Io Shirai for the NXT Women’s Championship and was beginning a rivalry with Candice LeRae when the injury occurred.
To keep in line with kayfabe, NXT blamed the torn ACL on the attack by Le Rae prior to the Battle Royal to determine the number one contender to the top female prize on the black and gold brand.
Tegan is now expected to be absent from the squared circle for six to nine months and will resume her feud with LeRae when she returns should ‘The Poison Pixie’ still reside on NXT.
