Taz has announced he has recently underwent minor surgery to remove a lump on his face, assuring fans he will still be in action on AEW television.
The Human Suplex Machine took to Twitter to share the news of his recent medical procedure. In a video that shows Taz in a hospital bed wearing a face covering, the former ECW Champion urged fans to tune in to AEW Dynamite:
“So, make sure you watch Dynamite tonight. Tonight, 10pm EST on TNT. It’s gonna be awesome. I’m just getting a little procedure done here, this lump taken off my face. I’m good, I’m in the hospital about to go into surgery. I will be out in time to watch Dynamite, 10pm EST, TNT. Make sure you watch it.”

Taz, who made his AEW debut back in October 2019 would send a follow up tweet in the hours following the hospital update letting fans know he will be calling the action in a bout pitting Adam Page and Dark Order’s 10 against Team Taz members Brian Cage and Powerhouse Hobbs:
Ultimately, Team Taz would come up short in the match, with Page and Dark Order’s 10 picking up the victory.
