Former WWE star Taya Valkyrie has slammed the company after their latest round of roster cuts and wants fans to stop supporting the promotion.
Valkyrie competed for WWE for only 7 months between April and November 2021 when she was released from the company. Known as Franky Monet during her time on NXT, the longest-reigning IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion of all time only wrestled 6 times on the developmental brand before being let go.
In the latest round of cuts first reported on by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Taya Valkyrie’s husband John Morrison was one of 8 WWE Superstars who found themselves now trimmed from the WWE roster.
In addition to former SmackDown Tag Team Champion Morrison, Tegan Nox, Hit Row, Jaxson Ryker, Shane Thorne, and Drake Maverick were also all let go by WWE with the reason once again for the cuts being put down to the budget.
Taking to social media, Taya Valkyrie has not held back on her assertions towards WWE and claims the company has “zero respect” for those putting their bodies on the line for the company:
“Stop supporting a company that has ZERO respect for their talent. You love pro wrestling, spend your money on the hundreds of other alternatives. This is wrong. Ethically, as employers they don’t care about us. Talent or fans.”
