Taya Valkyrie looks set to debut on NXT on the black and gold brand’s first Tuesday night episode on April the 13th.
On NXT on the USA Network, a vignette aired showing a Pomeranian dog running through the Capitol Wrestling Center where NXT is based. The dog stopped beside a woman in boots as writing on the screen said “See you April 13th, Franky.”
Fans were quick to point out that the dog appeared to be Taya Valkyrie’s pet pooch, Presley. Valkyrie and husband, WWE star John Morrison have two dogs – Presley and Bowie – with the canines having their own social media page.
It is still unclear whether the dog will appear on NXT television. And if indeed the dog will be known as Franky or if Valkyrie will be going by another name. WWE filed to trademark the name ‘Franky Monet’ earlier this month and the speculation is that will be the name Valkyrie will be known as in WWE.
Taya Valkyrie previously competed in IMPACT Wrestling. Valkyrie won the Knockouts Championship in January 2019, holding the title for over one year. This made Valkyrie the longest reigning Knockouts Champion of all time. She lost the title in January 2020 to Jordynne Grace.

NXT shared several social media posts of the dog making its way through the CWC. Valkyrie then shared these along with a post from the USA Network – which airs NXT in the US that said:
“If that’s who we think it is… @WWENXT is gonna be loca in April 13th.”
Valkyrie is known as ‘La Wera Loca,’ another indication that Valkyrie is set to appear on the post-TakeOver episode of NXT.
