Tay Conti Calls Out “Haters” In Inspiring Social Media Post

AEW Star Tay Conti fired back at all the “haters” who caused her to step away from Twitter for the foreseeable future in an inspirational post on Instagram.

Earlier this month, Conti deactivated her Twitter account after receiving a torrent of unwarranted and vile abuse in regard to Sammy Guevara and Pam Nizio ending their engagement. Since the Twitter hiatus, her management released a statement she would be taking some away from the social media platform.

The Brazilian Judoku has remained active on Instagram and on December 24th posted a message on her Instagram Stories addressing the situation stating haters will not take her happiness away:

“Hi Friends,

I had to take some off social media because I was reading some unnecessary comments.

My personal life is no ones business and no one has the right to create false rumors and harass me for something that wasn’t my fault.

When I look in the mirror, I’m happy to see who I am and I’m proud of myself. If you like my career, great you can stay but if you don’t, just leave. One thing is for sure: HATERS WILL NOT TAKE MY HAPPINESS AWAY.

I’m living my best life and bringing happiness to the people that enjoy my work. For those who shared love, I can’t THANK YOU enough… know that I do appreciate and love y’all, I’ll keep going no matter what.

Now let’s f–king go bc I need to workout, period. -Tay Conti”

Conti also celebrated Christmas through a variety of posts on the platform featuring the “vlog crew” of Alan Angels, Griff Garrison, Fuego Del Sol and Guevera.

Conti is one of AEW’s most popular stars and recently teamed with partner Ann Jay to defeat Emi Sakura and Diamante on the December 22nd edition of AEW Dark: Elevation.
