IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz reportedly suffered a nasty landing at the latest set of IMPACT Wrestling television tapings.
IMPACT Wrestling were in Poughkeepsie, New York this past weekend for their Rebellion pay-per-view and subsequent television tapings, the latter of which saw a current champion seemingly take a nasty bump.
The match in question saw Tasha Steelz, who’s currently the Anthem-helmed promotion’s Knockouts World Champion, tagging with Savannah Evans as they took on Decay’s Rosemary and Havok. As reported by PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, ‘The Boricua Badass’ bumped too high from a clothesline and was subsequently described as being “out of it”.
Tasha then tagged out to Savannah, remaining at ringside for the remainder of the match before being helped backstage by IMPACT’s medical team. Speaking with Women’s Wrestling Talk, Tasha Steelz confirmed her status, revealing she’s good to go for IMPACT’s next set of tapings next weekend (h/t Fightful):
“Ima badass, can’t nothing or nobody hold me down!”
Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans vs. Rosemary and Havok will air on tonight’s edition of IMPACT Wrestling. Also scheduled is a World Championship rematch between Moose and Josh Alexander, the IMPACT return of The Briscoe Brothers, and Mike Bailey and The Motor City Machine Guns facing Honor No More’s Eddie Edwards, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett.
Tasha captured her first Knockouts World Championship when she defeated Mickie James at IMPACT’s Sacrifice event at the start of March. She successfully defended the title against Rosemary at Rebellion, with a challenger for the Under Siege event on 7 May yet to be revealed.
