Former WWE diva, Taryn Terrell, has opened up about the scolding she received from Vince McMahon for performing a wrestling move during a match.
A well known name and face in the IMPACT Knockouts division, Terrell was once property of WWE between 2007 – 2010 under the name Tiffany after being discovered in the Raw Diva Search competition.
Serving as the assistant to Teddy Long in WWE’s version of ECW, the star would soon break free and lace up her boots with a switch to SmackDown but failed to make a splash before her release in 2010 after what was said to be an incident involving then husband and current WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre.
Now, Terrell has joined the cast of IMPACT Knockouts Round Table to discuss her time in WWE and the dressing down she received from Vince McMahon when she performed a superplex during a match with Michelle McCool:
“I’ll never forget, I had a match with Michelle McCool and we did a superplex. A superplex. We got brought to the back afterwards, we were told to wait and Vince came out, Vince McMahon, and ripped us a new one because that is a move you save for the boys. A superplex, guys.”
Taryn Terrell made her way to Total Nonstop Action in 2012 where she was installed as the referee for the promotion’s women’s division. However, her role didn’t last long before she transitioned into an active performer role in a storyline with Gail Kim.
