RETRIBUTION’s T-BAR and NXT Superstar Shotzi Blackheart have seemingly taken shots at the ending of AEW Revolution on social media.

Kenny Omega defended the AEW Championship in an exploding barbed wire deathmatch against Jon Moxley in the main event. Gallows and Anderson would then join Omega in decimating Moxley after the match. The trio would leave Moxley handcuffed and prone in the ring as they waited for the promised exploding ring to detonate. Moxley’s old friend Eddie Kingston would come out to the ring and try to protect Moxley from the worst of it. Kingston would lay across Moxley as the timer counted down to zero for the explosion.

The explosion, however, turned out to be little more than a fizzle. Small explosions occurred following some pyro being shot from the ring posts.

WWE Superstars T-BAR and Shotzi Blackheart were among those giving their reactions to the events on social media. T-BAR would encourage viewers to tune into Monday Night Raw with an interesting choice of adjective:

“Tune in tomorrow night at 8PM EST for an explosive new episode of

Monday Night RAW on the

! #RETRIBUTION”

NXT’s Shotzi Blackheart shared a GIF of a memorable wrestling personality who was known for his somewhat diminished pyro – Gillberg.

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray was among from the world of wrestling to give their reaction on social media. AEW CEO Tony Khan and Jon Moxley both gave their explanation as to what happened after the event.

AEW Revolution would see Sting return to action in over five years. Teaming with Darby Allin, the duo would face Brian Cage and Ricky Starks in a cinematically filmed street fight.
